Which type of antistatic Big Bag do you need?
The industry classifies Big Bags into four types according to how they behave with static electricity, under the international standard IEC 61340-4-4. The right type depends on two things: how flammable the powder is, and whether there are flammable vapors or gases where the bag is filled or emptied.

Important: NEGASAC manufactures Type B. If there are flammable gases or vapors in your filling or discharge area, a Type C or D is required, and we will tell you so when we review your case. No antistatic type works properly if its surface is covered with water, oil or another conductive material. The final choice must be validated by your plant’s safety department; our technical team will help with the product information.
